My name is Dave, here is my story. I am 59 years old and I have an athletic background. Years of hard work and hard play have left me with multiple herniated discs including one minor back surgery, and I had a quadruple coronary artery bypass surgery 4 years ago.

My story probably covers a longer time period than most. About a year ago I had an intense pain in the abdomen/groin. After going to several doctors and checking out a variety of theories I was told that I had a muscular injury. I was told by the doctors that "it's a slow healing injury, but since it's muscular so it will go away on its own".

Working with EJ has produced unexpected and welcome results for me in a short period of time. I was in search of someone who could help manage my chronic lower back pain and found a gifted diagnostician who identified the source of my problems (he likes to call them “issues”).

I was diagnosed with spondylolisthesis, a congenital back condition in which a vertebra is unstable , when I was ten years old. It has bothered me in varying degrees throughout my life but until a few years ago it didn't prohibit me from doing what I love—tennis and running.

I can walk places, shop with my friends, go into NYC and get around. This sounds minor to most people but for me it's a daily miracle. I moved here 4 years ago, with a new left knee replacement.

My story started after graduating college in 1993, when I was working in visual display for a large retail chain store. The job was very physically demanding. I was always lifting, climbing on, or pushing something.

After a neck injury in college and recent neck trauma induced by a water skiing accident after the birth of my third child, I began to experience persistent excruciating neck pain. My ability to run, play tennis, weight train and practice yoga all became impeded and before long, unavoidable tasks such as lifting my toddler and driving became difficult.
